Meet Mark

Mark Summerton has spent the last 10 years working as an electrician across Surrey, Sussex and Kent, with a background rooted in commercial electrical work - still the side of the job he enjoys most, alongside a strong, well-tested track record in domestic inspection and testing.

Before starting MS Electrical Solutions, Mark worked on large commercial projects, where he saw first-hand how decisions could get lost in layers of sign-off - nobody quite willing to own a call that was well within their pay grade to make. Going out on his own was a direct response to that: a business built around clear accountability, where the person doing the work is also the person making the decisions.

His qualifications back that up: Level 2 and Level 3 Diplomas in Electrical Installation (City & Guilds 2365), the 18th Edition Wiring Regulations (BS 7671), an NVQ Level 3 (City & Guilds 2357) backed by AM2 assessment, and City & Guilds 2391-52 in Inspection and Testing - the qualification underpinning every EICR MS Electrical Solutions carries out. He also holds Site Supervision Safety Training Scheme (SSSTS) certification, reflecting his continued work on commercial and site-based projects alongside domestic jobs.

Mark is NAPIT-accredited, meaning his work is independently assessed and verified - you can check his registration directly on the NAPIT register. He covers Surrey, Sussex and Kent as standard, with jobs further into South London, Central London and Hampshire taken on a case-by-case basis.
